Mood: organized
Reading: Dracula by Bram Stoker

I’m not going to have a huge long voting period because a)I’m impatient and b) because procrastination settles in all to easily with artists. So, after reviewing the comments and stuff I’ve received, the first ever summer collaboration subject will be the Greek Gods.

And now it all goes down. Awesome.
This is how it’s going to work…and I’m sorry if this steps on anyone’s toes. I just like having some type of order to everything because it makes life so much easier. There will be 20 spots for general consumption…I mean for first come first served. There will be five spots for people I consider to be friends. (i.e. I’ve known you personally, or if we’ve had some sort of correspondence outside of dA.)

Before you jump to grab your spot, please consider this carefully: this is a serious project. There’s nothing better than working with other artists under a certain theme for the same purpose. This is also a piece of work to add to your gallery…not mine. Yours. This benefits you. So if you sign up, please meet all required deadlines, research your chosen subject and create a piece of work that’s well…awesome. No sketches or images that you ran millions of strange and not-needed Photoshop filters on.

And watch out…some of these are not the over-used and well-known Greek Gods so you have plenty of room to be way creative! Everything, except for porn, inappropriate nudity, and vertical layouts go. Make it horizontal folks.

So, you’ve read it all. Are you ready? Here we go:

20 General Consumption Spots
1) Atlas – god of weightlifting and heavy burdens
2) Boreas – god of the north wind
3) Ceto – goddess of trouble at sea - *Tireen
4) Eros – god of love, fertility and desire
5) Helios – god of the sun
6) Persephone – goddess of the underworld
7) Lampetia – goddess of light
8) Maia – a daughter of Atlas and a star (literally)
9) Oreads – dryads of mountain pines
10) Pontus – god of the sea
11) Zephyrus – god of the west wind
12) Nyx – goddess of the night - =Westbaylen
13) Selene – goddess of the moon - =alienfirst
14) Fates – the three goddess of destiny and fate
15) Electra – goddess of clouds with a silver lining
16) Penia – goddess of poverty
17) Aeolus – god of the south winds
18) Eos – goddess of dawn
19) Eurus – god of the east wind
20) Uranus – god of the sky

If you want one of the above spots, please drop me a note. Feel free to still comment here but I will only regard notes as the proper form of a request.
(The other five spots will be taken care of privately.)

And get the word out about this collaboration! The more the better. If this first one goes well and fills up extremely fast, I might start a second different one with the next theme.

And a cool name for this would be awesome too.

Deadline for requesting a spot: July 31st, 2005

99% of people don't actually give two craps about these things. If you're one of them, ignore this and move on.

'Theos enomenos' actually means 'God united'. The plural would be 'Thei enomene'. It sounds like a great project and I'm looking foward to seeing the results --good luck to all involved!
